About WWEC's Lesson and Training Program

Wishing Well's lesson horses and ponied are well trained and safe. You are welcome to bring your own horse as well! We can accommodate riders beginner through advance in both Western and English disciplines. After you have learned (or already know) the basic you can choose to learn and grow into many different possibilities of hunt seat, western pleasure, gaming, eventing, equitation, dressage, jumpers, and good old fashioned trail/pleasure riding.

Our instructors and trainers have many years of combined teaching and competion experience for you to learn from. If you goal for your horse or self is to be able to get around the ring at a canter or have sights set on competing in 4' jumpers we can get you there. Our instructors have produced National and Championship riders within the United States Pony Club on numerous occasions in Show Jumping and Eventing, and have coached the dressage team riders through second level at Championships. Our trainers currently compete throughout the east coast in eventing, and regionally in dressage and jumpers depending on what level of horses we have.

We teach 7 days a week. Students are required to wear shoes with a hard sole, heel, and cover the ankle. Students are also asked to wear long pants and helmets are required (and available). We do have all the equipment and brushes for the school horses. If you bring your own horse, please bring your own equipment.

Prices: group lessons (2 to 4 riders), 1hour in length, ages 7 & up $35.00

Private lessons, 1hour in length, ages 7 & up $50.00

lead line lessons, up to 40mins, $25.00

Package deal on any of the above: pay for 10 and get two free

**Please note that the first lesson for everyone is private only. During that lesson we learn where the student is at and what groups we may have for him/her to join. Since are students learn from the ground up (grooming, catching a horse, turning horse back out to field or returning to stall, tacking up, untacking, etc.) we need to assure that we group our group lessons together properly. At the end of the first private lesson student (parent if rider is under 18) and instructor will discuss what works for everyone and go from there.

**We do require a 24 hour cancellation notice for all training sessions and lessons. If you do not give enough notice you will be responsible for half of the fee charged for your given activity.

Training prices: on a case by case basis. Give us a call to discuss the details for what you are looking for.
